Sweet News – Cakers have been waiting for this picture

People who design cakes for a living (Cakers) have been waiting on threads of spun sugar (our version of  “pins and needles”) for nearly a week for this picture.  Haven’t you been wondering?  What???  You don’t know what I’m talking about?

Chelsea Clinton’s wedding cake , of course.

At a reported cost of $11,000 it’s a beauty!  Made by La Tulipe Desserts in New York, the cake was reported to have been four feet tall and was made with 360 organic eggs, 50 pounds of sugar, 45 pounds of gluten-free flour, 30 pounds of butter and bittersweet chocolate.
